Male Charged After Stealing Child’s Wagon

Shortly before 3:00 p.m., members from the East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Detachment responded to a theft of child’s wagon from a residence on Walker Street in the Town of Thessalon.

The next day on October 12, 2017, the owner observed a male on Walker Street with her daughter’s wooden wagon in tow. The description of the male and a possible first name were given to police. Police determined who the male was and located him on October 17, 2017 where he was arrested.

As a result of the investigation, Kyle PARNELL, 32 years of age from Thessalon, Ontario was charged with: Possession Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000-in Canada, contrary to section 354 of the Criminal Code.
