Snow & Snowpeople

0

snowpeople Hooray! We finally have some snow in our playground! The students in the Full Day Early Learning Kindergarten program have been anxiously awaiting some fresh snow to play in. After sharing the story “Sadie and the Snowman” in class, we had many discussions about building our own snow people.  We decided to split into small groups and work as teams to roll several big snow balls to create our two snow people last week.  The students wanted to share some of their crackers from their snack to create eyes, tangerine sections and celery sticks for the mouth and OF COURSE a carrot nose! We hope that the birds and small animals that visit our playground enjoyed the healthy snacks from our snow people! We certainly had great fun on a snowy afternoon building them! Just a reminder –  it is not too late to register your child for Kindergarten! Your child will love our large, bright classroom, lots of outside play, daily French and gym classes as well as a wonderful library and computer lab! Please call the school at 705-856-2517 to arrange a tour!
