THESE COLLECTIONS ARE FREE and available from our website with your library membership!   Overdrive Did you know that there are movies to download from Overdrive? Overdrive is the library’s ebook site. With over 31,000 fiction books and many more in other categories, it is easy to find something enjoyable to read. It’s hard to know how many people locally are reading ebooks, but for those that do, or for those that might be interested, Overdrive is terrific. It is possible to download books onto a multiple of devices, including your laptop, computer, iphone, ipad or android devices not just ereaders. The book selection is current, with all the latest books by your favourite authors, there are also audiobooks for those people that prefer to listen and best of all, it’s free to you, all you need is your library card. This ebook website is provided to you and paid for by your local library. Not sure how to use Overdrive? Come into the library and we will walk you through it or any other database accessible through our website.   After School Programs All clubs are from 3:30 – 4:30pm Tuesday – Craft Club – ages 5-12 Wednesday – Clay Club – ages 7-12 Thursday – Drawing Club – ages 6-12 Friday – Game Day – ages 7-12   Homework help drop in is available at 3:30 Tuesday – Friday.   DVD & Blu-Ray Collection  DVD’s and Blu-Ray are loaned for a seven day period. We will be joining a DVD pool late fall. Watch for those titles on our shelves. Please take extra care with the DVD’s and Blu-Ray. Borrowers are responsible for damages and loss. Note – you must be 18+ to take out movies on your library card. Borrowing a movie is FREE to library members who are 18 and older. Movies are a seven day loan and incur $3.00 per day per movie overdue fines.   Used Battery Collection Don’t know what to do with your old batteries? You can now drop them off at the Wawa Public Library. We are a collection site for single use batteries. The collection bin is at our circulation desk. Drop them off and they will be picked up for recycling by Raw Materials Company Inc.
