Wawa-news joins a new team

No, we didn’t hack your computer…

Two weeks ago, Wawa-news joined forces with SuperiorMedia to create MyAlgoma.ca and MyWawa.ca. Wawa has always been considered a hub for many services within the Algoma District, now this expanded website will offer a more rounded look at news, events and businesses.

Wawa-news has been in operation for 10 years, offering news coverage 24/7. That will not change.

What has changed and will continue to, is the look and expanded content. Readers now have the opportunity to read not only news from Wawa, but from neighbouring communities as we expand. Already the MyWawa.ca page is showing an increase of over 20% in readership over the past two weeks.

MyWawa.ca will continue to feature a calendar of events (select by category the community you are interested in), the twitter feed for quick news updates. New for readers is the Flyers page. Here you can have a look at the specials offered by a number of stores

As this new site moves forward there will be changes as we fine tune the website.
