Former Wawaite is Signed to Play for Powassan Voodoos

Former Wawaite Cameron Moore, with his roots in Wawa Minor Hockey Cameron continues to advance. Moore has been signed to play for the Powassan Voodoos of the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League.

Last year in his season with the New Liskeard Cubs of the Great North Midget Hockey League with 15 goals, 11 assists, and 26 points in 33 games. Cameron was also a Voodoos affiliate for the 2015-16 season.

Cameron is quoted is saying that having family and friends in North Bay helped in deciding to play for the Powassan Voodoos. He also has family in New Liskeard, and has been playing defense for the New Liskeard Cubs for the past three seasons.

The Voodoos finished the 2015-16 season ranked 14th overall in the national CJHL rankings.
