Between the Covers – July 13


The Wawa Public Library will be closed from July 30th – August 15th inclusive.  We will re-open Tuesday, August 16, 2016.

Summer Programs will still be taking place.

New books: New on the seven day fiction shelf this week: “Brighton” by Michael Harvey, “Lily and the Octopus” by Steven Rowley, and “The weekenders” by Mary Kay Andrews.


TD Summer Reading Club –  Program Schedule

All programs begin the week of July 4, please call or drop in at the library to sign up.  “Cyber Camp” and “Play with Clay” have limited spaces.

Monday – TDSRC – Ages 3-6    10-11 a.m.       Ages 7-12    1:30-3:00 p.m.

Tuesday – Craft Club – Ages 4-8   10-11 a.m.   Ages 9-14   1-2:30p.m.

Wednesday – Play with Clay – Ages 6-10   10—11a.m.    Ages 11-14   1-2p.m.

– Cyber Camp – Ages 6 & up    3-4:30p.m.

Thursday – French TDSRC – Ages 3-6   10-11a.m.    Ages 7-12   1:30-3:00p.m.

Friday – STEM Club – Ages 8 & up 11a.m.-12:30p.m.

WII Club –  Ages 8 & up   2:30-4:00p.m.


Used Battery Collection

You can now drop off old batteries at the Wawa Public Library. We are a collection site for single use batteries.


The library is closed Sundays, Mondays and all holidays. We are open Tuesday through Thursday from 11:30 – 8:00 pm; Friday 11:30 – 5:00 pm, and Saturday from noon until 2 pm.

Public Access Computers, Ipads & WiFi

WiFi is available at the library – please register at the circulation desk if you are accessing our library wifi. We need to track the usage for statistical purposes. Thank you!   We have 2 public computers as well as 3 new ipads available for public use.  Please inquire at the circulation desk.
