SUSPENDED DRIVER CHARGED
(TOWNSHIP OF THE NORTHSHORE, ON) – On July 31, 2016, members of the Ontario Provincial Police were on regular patrol on Highway 17, east of Blind River.
Shortly after 9:00 p.m., police observed a vehicle and a traffic stop was initiated. Investigation revealed the driver was suspended. As a result of the investigation, John MCCAULEY, 43 years of age from Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, was charged with: Driving While Under Suspension (X2), contrary to section 53(1) of the Highway Traffic Act.
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Blind River on October 5, 2016.
