FAMILY DISPUTE – FIFTEEN YEAR OLD CHARGED
(BLIND RIVER, ON) – On August 8, 2016, shortly after 12:00 p.m., members of the East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a family dispute at a residence on Laborne Avenue in the Town of Blind River.
An argument ensued between a mother and daughter. The daughter then broke several windows in the residence. As police arrived, the female took off on foot. A short time later she was located and arrested.
As a result, a 15 year old female, from Blind River, Ontario, was charged with: Mischief under $5000, contrary to section 430(4) of the Criminal Code.
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court Justice in Blind River on October 13, 2016.
