Rain won’t stomp on our festival plans!
Nothing will dampen what we have planned for the Northern Superior Brew ‘N’ Corn-Fest this Saturday at the Sault Ste. Marie Canal.
The day long festival of events will run from 10 am until 11 pm on Saturday, August 20th. You can expect to see West Coast Lumberjack Shows, a voyageur brigade, official welcome from Mayor Provenzano, and it’s the first time that canal log rolling will be taking place at a Canadian National Park.
The event is being put on by The TECH and is in support of ARCH Hospice. Tickets can be purchased day of at the gate. Adults are $20, Youth/Senior are $15 and Children 12 & under are free. It’s a family fun event that everyone can enjoy with face painting, a Northern Superior Beer garden, live music and an amateur Lumberjack competition that will surely entertain the whole family.
In addition, we will be broadcasting the final Tragically Hip concert live from Kingston, Ontario on a massive inflatable screen. Thank you to our community partners Pickard Construction, Arch Hospice, Northern Superior Brew, Purvis Marine Limited and PUC who help in making this event a success.
