Students from local high schools across Northern Ontario are participating in the annual College Information Program (CIP) Tour this week and next. The tour includes booths and displays featuring representatives from 13 colleges across Ontario giving students (and parents) the opportunity to speak with college representatives about programs being offered, how to apply, financial aid, opportunities after graduation and more.
The participating colleges being welcomed to northwestern/eastern Ontario include: Algonquin (Ottawa), Cambrian (Sudbury), Canadore (North Bay), Centennial (Toronto), Conestoga (Kitchener), Durham (Oshawa), Fanshawe (London), George Brown (Downtown Toronto), Georgian (Barrie), Lambton (Sarnia), Northern (Timmins) and Sault (Sault Ste. Marie).
Although the tight scheduling of this event and a Professional Development Day in Wawa has forced the cancellation here, students may wish to travel to the two next nearest opportunities in Marathon or Sault Ste. Marie.
