Weather – It is still mild outside -5C, Mainly cloudy with 30 percent chance of flurries. Wind becoming west 20 km/h near noon.

There is a snow squall watch for Sault St. Marie, St. Joseph Island, Searchmont, Batchawana Bay, and Montreal River Harbour today. Drive safely.

Roads – Hwy 17 from Sault Ste. Marie to Montreal River is bare and wet with some bare and dry sections. From Montreal River to the Paint Lake Road the highway is partly snow covered with bare and wet sections. From the Paint Lake Road to White River it is partly snow packed with snow covered sections.

Local – CBC Morning North is talking about delays and stranded passengers on Greyhound buses in the north.

Wawa was featured in an article in NorthernOntario Travel. Great article, but I wish we could get Young’s General Store Pickles in the winter time. Those pickles help to make the best potato salad.

District – Push for Change was in Blind River. Michael Matha was there.
