At Algoma District School Board’s Committee of the Whole meeting held on February 14th , Superintendent Joe Maurice and Superintendent Joe Santa Maria advised that the first public information meeting has been set for Sir James Dunn Public School in Wawa. It will be held on Wednesday, March 1st at 6:30pm in the library of Sir James Dunn Public School (36 McKinley). Superintendent Maurice will be in attendance as well as members of the Sir James Dunn Public School Accommodation Review Committee (ARC).
The review for Sir James Dunn Public School will focus on the possibility of school closure, accommodating the JK-8 program and students currently housed at the school as a JK-12 facility on the Michipicoten High School site.
