An intense low pressure system promises to deliver more wintery weather for the east Algoma region including the north shore and Elliot Lake. Environment Canada has issued the following warning for the area.
Snowfall warning in effect for:
Elliot Lake – Ranger Lake
Snowfall, with total amounts of 15 to 20 cm is expected.
Snow will continue to affect the regions today, as a strong Colorado low tracks across Southern Ontario.
15 to 20 centimetres of snow are expected in total, before the snow comes to an end this evening.
Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult over some locations. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.
Snowfall warnings are issued when significant snowfall is expected.
