Sustain Algoma Expo coming up in June

0

The Sustain Algoma Expo organizing committee is currently looking for vendors for this year’s event.  Vendors can be business, organizations or individuals who contribute to a strong, sustainable community.  This includes environmental organizations, clean energy, green products, organic foods, arts and crafts, and the outdoors.  If you can demonstrate how you contribute to a sustainable community, we are happy to have you.

Already confirmed vendors include Clean North, The Kensington Conservancy, Central Algoma Freshwater Coalition, STUFFF Lubricants, Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry, Canadian Red Cross, Invasive Species Centre and St. Mary’s River Remedial Action Plan.

The expo will take place on Saturday June 3, 2017 at the Johnson Township Community Centre in Desbarats.  This is also the first day of the year for the Johnson Farmers’ Market, taking place at the same location.

Since 2009, this expo has drawn thousands of people.  This will be a fun event for the whole family.

Sponsorship opportunities are also available.

To register for the event or to get more information, visit the Sustain Algoma Expo website at http://sustainalgomaexpo.com/.  For additional info, please contact Carter at the Kensington Conservancy at [email protected] or 705-782-2200.
