With Summer quickly coming to an end, it’s time to look into the crystal ball and see what kind of Autumn and Early Winter is in store for us in Algoma.
With the above average rainfall this summer one thing is certain, expect to see some glorious colours this Autumn.
The rest of August looks unsettled with a few showers and thunderstorms possible. The Autumn season at this point looks slightly above seasonal temperatures (seasonal being 22c for daytime temperatures.
Heading into September as mentioned above, above seasonal temperatures will carry on right through the month of September and for most of October. A little more activity expected in October as a few waves of unsettled conditions could kick off spells of some damp days and heavy thunderstorms by mid-month.
November is usually the transition month to winter. November will bring with it an early touch of winter, snow showers are expected to organize early this year, but not likely to stick around with much accumulation until early December. Temperatures for December look seasonal to slightly above seasonal.
