Special weather statement in effect for:

Wawa – Pukaskwa Park
White River – Dubreuilville
Snowfall amounts of 5 to 10 cm are likely by Saturday morning. However, higher amounts near 15 cm are possible.

Roads may become slippery due to accumulating snow. Motorists should be prepared for winter driving conditions and allow for extra time to reach their destination.

The snow is expected to taper off by Saturday morning.

This wintery weather is attributed to a slow moving area of low pressure located south of Lake Superior.
