On December 18, 2017, at approximately 1:20 p.m. members of the East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a theft call from a local department store on Main Street in the town of Thessalon, Ontario.
The complainant reported watching a known female put numerous items in her bag and proceed to leave the store without paying for them.
After police investigation, the items were retrieved and the female was arrested.
Kelly ERVIN, 50 years of age, from Thessalon, Ontario, was charged with:
Theft Under $5000, contrary to section 334(b) of the Criminal Code (CC)
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Blind River, Ontario, on February 1, 2018.
