The Sault Downtown Association (DTA) is pleased to host a Street Party to celebrate the hard work and dedication of our Soo Greyhounds as they move on to face the Hamilton Bulldogs in the OHL finals.
The Greyhounds seized the win on Tuesday night from the Kitchen Rangers in double overtime, making them the Western Conference Champions, winning the Wayne Gretzky Trophy for the first time since its inception in 1998/9.
Partnering up with the Hounds, Northern Superior Brewing, Coch’s, and Shabby Motley, the SSM DTA’s Street Party is one you don’t want to miss!
Come out Thursday May 3rd (tomorrow night) from 4pm to 7pm (puck drops in the Essar Centre at 7:07pm) for a live DJ, face painting, bouncy castles, street hockey, and beer gardens!
The party will take place on Queen Street, between Bruce and Dennis streets.
It is sure to be a great time – whether you have tickets for the greatly anticipated game one against the Bulldogs or not!
Our boys have been giving it their all and playing historically well on the ice all season.
While we have the highest hopes that they an #IgniteTheNorth in the finals and represent Sault Ste. Marie to compete for the Memorial Cup, we have every reason to celebrate their relentless success to date.
So come on out, bring the kids, have a drink for the boys – Let’s show off our Sault pride and enjoy the beautiful spring weather we’ve been waiting on!
