Blind River Residents. Have You Got Household Hazardous Waste?

The Municipality of Huron Shores is participating in the Town of Blind River’s Household Hazardous Waste Day on Saturday, July 28/18.  Residents and ratepayers are encouraged to bring their household hazardous waste, free of charge, to the Blind River Tourist Information Centre between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.  Please click here to view the flyer for details.

Huron Shores residents/ratepayers may also drop off their household hazardous waste, also free of charge, at the Sault Ste. Marie hazardous waste depot located at the City Landfill located at 402 Fifth Line East.  The Hazardous Waste Depot Hours of Operation are: Tuesday to Saturday – 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (May 1, 2018 to October 27, 2018)

Note:  During the closed season, please keep your household hazardous waste items for proper disposal at one of the City’s event days scheduled periodically through the off-season.  Please click here for a list of acceptable and unacceptable items.
