Election Signs are not meant to be tampered with.


(LITTLE CURRENT, ON) – The Manitoulin-Espanola Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is reminding residents that damaging or removing election signs can lead to charges under the Criminal Code.

Manitoulin-Espanola OPP received reports of election signs being removed and damaged in Tehkummah Township, Ontario. The offences occurred sometime between September 8 and September 20, 2018.

Any person with information regarding the person(s) responsible for this incident should immediately contact the Ontario Provincial Police at 1-888-310-1122 or their nearest police authority.
