Theft Caught On Video

On February 2, 2019, members of the East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a theft call at a grocery store on Hillside Drive North in the City of Elliot Lake, Ontario.

The complainant was an employee at the grocery store and was doing work at the front foyer area. The man took his gloves off and put them on the window ledge while he put salt down at the entrance. When he went back inside, his gloves were gone. He spoke to the elderly couple who were in that area when he put his gloves down. The elderly female denied seeing the gloves and departed the store.
