Three killed in single-vehicle crash Monday identified as teenagers: police

HURON EAST, Ont. — Provincial police say the three people killed in a single-vehicle crash in Huron East, Ont., on Monday were all teenagers.

Officers say a driver and two passengers died when a pickup truck crashed at about 7:45 a.m.

A fourth person remains in hospital.

Police say the driver has been identified as 17-year-old Dennis Linthorst.

The passengers who were killed were 14-year-old Owen Bakker and 19-year-old Ivan Kuepfer.

Police say their investigation is ongoing, and they’ll release more information as it becomes available.
