Fire Ban Finally Lifted for Huron Shores

The Fire Ban in Huron Shores has been lifted. Please exercise caution and don't burn anything that shouldn't be thrown into a campfire. file photo

The Huron Shores Fire Department advises that the Fire Ban, originally imposed July 22nd, 2019, has been lifted.

Open Air Burning (burning of brush, grass, debris) may only be conducted with a valid permit.  Burning permits are available at the Municipal Office in Iron Bridge from Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; the Fee is $5.00.
