At approximately 1:10 a.m. early this morning about 3,829 Algoma Power customers lost power north of Sault Ste. Marie due to a loss of supply from Hydro One. Areas affected are:
- Heyden
- Goulais
- Batchawana
- Searchmont (including Ski Resort)
As of 8:30 a.m. Algoma Power has been ableto restore power to 825 customers in the Batchawana area. Currently 3004 customers remain without power.
