(ELLIOT LAKE, ON) – On February 2, 2020, at approximately 7:23 p.m., the East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) members received a call regarding a car that had driven into the snowbank on Mississauga Avenue in the City of Elliot Lake, Ontario.
When police arrived on scene a short time later, there were numerous people attempting to pull the car out of the snowbank. The driver was still in the driver’s seat and stated they lost control and crashed into the snowbank. After further police investigation it was learned that the driver was suspended.
Dawn ROBINSON, 28 years of age, from Elliot Lake, Ontario was charged with:
- Driving while suspended, contrary to section 53(1) of the Highway Traffic Act (HTA).
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Elliot Lake, Ontario on March 4, 2020.
