Due to ongoing Covid restrictions, school gatherings are not allowed. As a result, schools have to be flexible and resourceful if they are to offer students and staff opportunities to celebrate activities together as a group. At École St-Paul (Lively), students and staff get together virtually every month to celebrate various events. This is precisely how the school proceeded on November 11 when it underlined Remembrance Day. Grade 8 students at École St-Paul were the virtual hosts and coordinators of this activity. Through a slide show, the students presented to their fellow school mates, among other things, the poem “In Flanders Fields.” They also highlighted some of the family members of the school’s students who previously served in the Canadian military.
