(SAULT STE MARIE, ON) – On November 23, 2020 at 10:00 a.m., members of the Sault Ste Marie Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a complaint of a theft from a cottage property located in Batchawana.
Investigation revealed that sometime between November 15, 2020 and November 23, 2020, someone attended the property and attempted to steal four solar panels. Two panels were damaged during the commission of the offence while the other two panels were stolen.
The solar panels are described as black, Coleman 150 watt panels. They are approximately 149 x 66.5 x 3.5 cm in size and are valued at $600 each.
