Since the 2020-2021 school year is unlike any other, the Collège Notre-Dame (Sudbury) Students’ Parliament is organizing a host of special activities for students. One initiative that caught the students interest was seeing Alfred the Alouette, the school’s mascot, leave the CND to visit 25 places in Greater Sudbury thus launching the students in a mad race to identify these places posted on social media. Alfred traveled to various places including Bell Park, Sudbury Arena, St-Jean-de-Brébeuf Church, École Félix-Ricard and Science North. Due to his high visibility in the community, Alfred the Alouette’s trek was even feature by CTV in its Northern Ontario news broadcast!

“We have to invent safe and fun activities to make this school year more entertaining,” said Student Prime Minister Zoé Venne. “We congratulate the winner of the competition, Jamie-Lynn Wright”.
