Thunder Bay OPP seek public assistance in theft of skidder


(THUNDER BAY, ON) – On March 4, 2021 at approximately 1:43 p.m. officers from the Thunder Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a stolen Tree Farm skidder from the area of Allan/Earl Road in Marks Township.

The skidder was last seen in the summer of 2020 parked off of Allan Road in Marks Township.

This vehicle is described as an older, C5 Tree Farm skidder, faded light green colour, and has no engine covers or ignition with a spare tire on the rear of the vehicle. The vehicle has chains on the front wheels and the tires are worn down to approximately 30% tread.

The vehicle is approximately 50 years old and has an approximate value between $10,000 – $12,000.

Thunder Bay OPP is continuing the investigation.
