Update: James Street Homicide Investigation, Man Wanted for Second Degree Murder


As a result of the ongoing investigation into the death of a woman in the 100 block of James Street 50-year-old Jerry Leveille is now wanted for second-degree murder.

It’s alleged the accused was in a residence with the victim, an argument ensued and he shot the victim. The victim died as a result of the gunshot wound.

In addition to second-degree murder, Jerry Leveille is also wanted for;

  • Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
  • Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon
  • Knowingly Possessing an Unauthorized Weapon
  • Possession of a Loaded Firearm
  • Possession of a Firearm Contrary to Prohibition Order
  • Careless Use of a Firearm
  • Pointing a Firearm

The victim and accused were known to each other. This was not a random act of violence.

If anyone has information about the incident or the whereabouts of Jerry Leveille, they are urged to call 911. If you see the accused, do not approach him. He should be considered armed and dangerous.
