(ELLIOT LAKE, ON) – The East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is asking for assistance in regards to a break and enter that occurred at a cottage on Highway 546, north of Elliot Lake (Unincorporated Territory) sometime between December 6, 2021 and December 27, 2021.
On December 27, 2021 police were called to the location by the complainant. Forced entry was used to enter the cottage and numerous items were stolen: a Stihl MS Professional 362 orange chainsaw with an approximate value of $1000, a 1000 Watt gas generator with a value of approximately $200, a Homelite gas pump with an approximate value of $350, a yellow 1960 antique chainsaw with an approximate value of $600, and numerous red five gallon gas cans.
